CanTorque RACING

Driven By Passion & Fueled By The Desire To Succeed

The History

To Colin, racing always seemed like a fantasy world, like watching Star Trek on the TV screen... not something he could actually experience himself; or could he? Colin eventually got the the track with his family Don and Mark Campbell drag racing through Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest.

In 2008 Colin completed the circle from fantasy to reality when he signed his first Indycar sponsorship with Alex Tagliani. Alex rejoined the IndyCar series with Conquest Racing.

Along with the growth of CanTorque came sponsorships at higher levels of racing. Through this success, both Colin and Alex, co-founded Tagliani Autosport competing in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.

In 2020 another dimension was added becoming the factory representatives for CRG, the world’s premiere racing kart manufacturer.   Www.kartcrg.ca

CanTorque Karting

Not content to simply watch racing from the sidelines Colin put his hand on a go kart in 2008 when he and brother in law Mark bought their first race kart and was finally able to call himself a racer. Their original intention was to share the kart and alternate race days but that lasted one race once they discovered that neither of them wanted to miss races.

Over the winter they bought a second kart to be able to race with each other. The thrill of the race is there every time he puts on his helmet and race suit.

Check back regularly to see how CanTorque Racing and their sponsored drivers are doing this season!
