CanTorque’s in house laser engraving system allows us to quickly and easily identify and brand components and tools.
The video above shows how we brand a batch of RT-4 (400-5000 Lbf/ft) Hydraulic Actuators from our latest production run. Our engraving templates are created in advance; as a result branding a housing the process only takes a few minutes.
In concert with our new software platform we are also able to use unique identifiers for the majority of our components which will allow us to record information such as:
- Date of production
- Heat treating reports
- Mill test reports
- Technician that
- Inspected components
- Assembled tools
- Calibrated, tested and final inspection
